COPPER BORATE, also known as cupric borate, is a compound with the chemical formula Cu(BO2)2. It is commonly used as a wood preservative to protect against fungal and insect attacks. COPPER BORATE is also used in the production of ceramics and glazes, as a flame retardant, and as a pigment in paints.
