COPPER CHLORIDE, also known as cupric chloride, is a greenish-blue solid with the chemical formula CuCl2. It is commonly used as a catalyst in various chemical reactions, as a mordant in dyeing textiles, and in the production of pigments, wood preservatives, and fungicides. COPPER CHLORIDE is also used in the etching of circuit boards and as a coloring agent in fireworks.
