Description

Barium carbonate is a chemical compound consisting of barium ions (Ba²⁺) and carbonate ions (CO3²⁻). It is a white powder that is insoluble in water but soluble in acids. Barium carbonate is primarily used in the production of specialty glass, such as television glass, optical glass, and ceramic glazes.
